Our Mission Statement
To KNOW GOD, to demonstrate His Kingdom, and to HELP PEOPLE throughout the world know and share HIS LOVE by providing Christians with TOOLS of communication that express GOD'S HEART in fresh, new ways.
Our Vision Statement
Connecting people with the heart of God through messages of hope and encouragement every day, everywhere.
DaySpring is a name given in Scripture to Jesus Christ. Luke records the prophetic song of Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, on the occasion of John’s birth. The Holy Spirit showed Zechariah that John would prepare the people for salvation through forgiveness of sins by the coming Messiah, and that God’s mercy on His people would bring this about. The Holy Spirit also showed Zechariah that “the dayspring from on high” (Luke 1:78 KJV) was to come and “give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:79). Our intent at DaySpring Cards is to spread the light from that sunrise by creating products that honor and reflect His name, His character, His nature, His kindness, and His love.
Our core values are the beliefs, convictions and principles which are the foundation of who we are and what we do.
They are based on the following:
The eternal truths of scripture are relevant to contemporary life. Through prayer, we receive God’s direction and blessing on our ministry. All power, authority, and resources come from God.
We commit to honor and respect others:
Each person is intrinsically valuable regardless of the role they have in the company. We promote the success of others instead of protecting our own self interests. We are accountable to each other, working as partners for a common purpose. “Honor Christ by submitting to each other.” Eph. 5:21 TLB
We commit to be servant-hearted in attitude and actions:
We identify who our customers are and understand how our work impacts them. We discover what is important to our customers and help to build mutually beneficial relationships with them. We encourage, support, and value teamwork. “...serve one another in love.” Gal. 5:13 NIV
We commit to be good stewards of talents, resources, and responsibilities:
We understand what is expected, and we perform to those expectations. We will use the resources and talents we possess to further enhance the achievement of our mission. We encourage professional growth and continuous learning. We participate in developing our community based upon our gifts. “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” I Peter 4:10 KJV
We commit to pursue excellence through continuous improvement and innovation:
We find more effective ways to do our work, seeking to keep our improvements simple and practical. We constantly seek to increase the quality, value, and ministry impact of our products and services. We are willing to take risks and learn from our mistakes. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Tim. 2:15 KJV
We commit to honesty and integrity in all of our actions and relationships:
We keep all promises we make. We bring issues and conflict to timely resolution. We keep problems issue-oriented, not personal. “But if we walk in the light...we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
